Get ready for an unforgettable afternoon of country‑rock magic at Paraoa Brewing Company! Join us on 23rd November 2025 for Barbie’s Country Rock Show, a three‑hour celebration of timeless songs, toe-tapping rhythms, and heartfelt storytelling.

Barbie Davidson is one of New Zealand’s most seasoned and dynamic performers. Winner of the NZ New Talent Award in 1991 for her debut album Borderline, she has graced stages from regional cabarets, to television shows, cruise ships, and major country festivals in Australia. Her style melds country, rock, jazz and blues influences, drawing comparisons to KD Lang, Juice Newton, and Dolly Parton, delivered with a classy stage presence and powerful vocals. Her latest release, Two Hearts, showcases her vocal versatility across ballads and foot-stomping anthems.

Joining Barbie on stage will be Nick Jones, an extraordinary violinist/fiddler who will add soaring melodies and energy to the show. The Whangaparaoa Line Dancers will bring live choreography, dance fun, and audience participation.
